Join our outstanding volunteers and make a difference!
“Volunteers are not paid…not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.” – Anon
Over its 100 year history, many dedicated volunteers have given freely their time, talent and creative energy to the Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee (TSVC). Thanks to their commitment, we are able to achieve our fundraising goals and to support the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in its education programs.
We currently need volunteers for the following committees/projects:
– Communications/Marketing
– Bridge event
– Day at the Races event
– Fine Wine Auction event
– Charity Challenge at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon
– Online Auctions
– New Projects
We also need volunteers to assist at the Morning with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra education program and at TSO Young People’s Concerts.
As a TSVC volunteer, you would be free to join any of our committees and lend your skills to plan, organize and execute fundraising events. These projects offer great opportunities for research, event planning, outreach and public relations.
If you are interested in and are qualified for these current volunteer opportunities, please complete the online application form. Only applicants with the skills required for our current opportunities will be contacted by a Membership committee member shortly afterwards.
Please note: We do not keep applications on file. Please feel free to apply again at any time.
Internship/High School Programs: The TSVC does not have a formal internship or high school co-op/volunteer program.
To help defray administrative costs, annual membership fees are:
- $50 Introductory members (first year of membership)
-
$100 Active members (members become active members after completing their first year of membership)
