For more than 100 years, volunteers have generously contributed their time, talent, and creativity to the Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee (TSVC). Their commitment has helped us raise funds and support the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and its education and outreach programs.
How to Apply
If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome individuals with a variety of skills and interests.

A member of the TSVC Membership Committee will contact you after your application has been reviewed.
Please note that the TSVC does not offer a formal student volunteer program.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are opportunities to get involved in fundraising, events, communications, sponsorship, outreach, education programs, and special projects.
Current opportunities:
Committees, Fundraising Events, and Projects:
– Communications/Marketing
– Sponsorship (securing and managing sponsors for TSVC fundraising events)
– Fine Wine Auction
– Charity Challenge at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon
– Online Auctions
– New Projects
Education Activities:
– Morning with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (MTSO) program (weekdays)
– TSO Young People’s Concerts (YPC) (4 Sundays per season)
– Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra (TSYO) outreach activities

Why Volunteer?
As a TSVC volunteer, you’ll use your skills and experience to support the Toronto Symphony Orchestra by contributing to TSVC committees, fundraising events, education activities, and outreach programs.
Membership Fees
To help defray administrative costs, annual membership fees are:
- $50 – Introductory membership (first year)
- $100 – Active membership (Introductory members become Active members after completing their first year of membership)
