For more than 100 years, dedicated volunteers have generously contributed their time, talent and creativity to the Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee (TSVC). Thanks to their commitment, we are able to meet our fundraising goals and support the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and its education and outreach programs.
How to Apply
If you are interested and have the skills for our current volunteer opportunities listed below, please complete the online Volunteer Application form. A member of the Membership Committee will contact you to discuss the next steps and how you might get involved.
Please note that the TSVC does not offer a formal student volunteer program.
Your Contribution as a TSVC Volunteer
As a TSVC volunteer, your skills and efforts help make our fundraising events and programs successful. You may join one or more committees to assist with planning, organizing, and executing TSVC events and other programs. Whether you are giving back to the community or sharing your expertise, your contributions are valuable and support TSVC work in research, event planning, outreach, sponsorship, and public relations, benefiting the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and its education and outreach programs.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
We are seeking volunteers for the following committees and projects:
– Communications, Marketing & Public Relations
– Sponsorship (securing and managing sponsors for TSVC events)
– Day at the Races event
– Fine Wine Auction event
– Toronto Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge
– Online Auctions
– New Projects
We also welcome volunteers to assist with:
– Morning with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra education program
– TSO Young People’s Concerts
– Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra (TSYO) outreach activities

To help defray administrative costs, annual membership fees are:
- $50 Introductory members (first year of membership)
- $100 Active members (members become active members after completing their first year of membership)
