TSO Education & Community Engagement
Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee provides financial support to the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra (TSYO) through annual gifts to the tuition-free TSYO program.
Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee members also actively participate in the following Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) Youth and Education programs.
Morning with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra: Volunteers greet and orient teachers and high school music students attending a TSO rehearsal at Roy Thomson Hall. Relevant information is provided to enrich the student’s experience. [Note: Volunteer training is provided to those volunteers participating in this program.]
TSO Young People’s Concerts: Volunteers assist performers during a half-hour pre-concert lobby performance at the TSO series of four one-hour concerts on Saturday afternoons, performed twice.
