TSO Youth & Education

The Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee provides financial support to the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra through annual gifts and scholarships. Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee members actively participate in the following Toronto Symphony Orchestra Youth and Education programs.

Morning with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra: Volunteers greet and orient teachers and high school music students attending a TSO rehearsal at Roy Thomson Hall.  Relevant information is provided to enrich the student’s experience.  [Note: Volunteer training is provided to those volunteers participating in this program.]

Young People’s Concerts: Volunteers assist performers during a half-hour pre-concert lobby performance at the TSO series of four one-hour concerts on Saturday afternoons, performed twice.
