Highlights of the 2016 Auction
- Highlighting Bordeaux is an impressive selection of First Growths: Margaux, Haut Brion, Latour, Lafite and Mouton including the outstanding ’82 and 2000 vintages and the exceptional ’82 Petrus.
- For special anniversary vintages: 1926 Calvados (Domfrontais); 1934 Armagnac (Nismes-Delclou); 2 bottles of cellar stored ’63 Taylor’s Vintage Port; Haut Brion, Lafite, Figeac all from the memorable ’66 vintage; and from among our significant offering of Sauternes, the remarkable ’67 Chateau d’Yquem. A ’69 vintage Roumier Bonnes Mares Grand Cru defines our largest selection of Burgundy to date.
- To this we add several significant oversizes including 2 impressive magnums of Cristal Roederer ’96, a magnum of Dom ’95 and a double magnum (DM) Spottswoode Estate.
- Not to be overlooked are several prime vintages from Penfolds Grange Hermitage, and our feature region for this auction ‘Portugal’ with a superb collection of port and the extraordinary white blend Solera Bual 1815 Madeira.- 1989 Chateau Lafite Rothschild (chateau boxed case of 12 bottles)
