The Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee’s first craft beer tasting fundraising experience, Beer with a Beat, was held on the Roy Thomson Hall patio, on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Featuring craft beer provided by Henderson Brewery, delicious food from Denninger’s, fabulous music – Classic Albums Live performed the “Best of Queen”, door prizes, 50/50 draw, surprise guests, and other entertainment. Co-hosted by CBC Sports personalities Signa Butler and Anson Henry.
The 2019 event was in support of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the music therapy program at the Hospital for Sick Children*.
*25% of proceeds benefiting SickKids Foundation.
